The Foundation was co-founded in 2005 by former Australian cricket fast bowler Glenn McGrath and his late wife, Jane McGrath, following her experience with breast cancer. This massive fundraising event sees the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and spectators "turn pink" in a visual show of support and unity, which has become one of Australia's most prominent sporting charity events, raising millions for the cause. The Foundation has a strong commitment to placing nurses in communities right across Australia, including rural and regional areas, where access to specialised care is often limited.
